Alternatives To Avoid Peak Oil Crisis

Peak oil concept explores the idea, where the supply of oil is in huge demand and gets saturated followed by a gradual decline. This theory was implored by Hubert and was critically ranted about in many occasions. So far, we have about 40 to 60 oil reserves that supply about 80,000 gallon of oil on an average day. This leaves us with a question of doubt about other oil reserves that are yet to be uncovered. The rise in demand of oil sure keeps us on toes with the peak oil theory as the oil producing countries are now facing a danger to keep up with the demand.

The rise of prices would lead to economic deflation and would keep the countries at war with each other. A lot of environmentalists urge the need to find out alternative resources for oil, so as to peak the oil. Today a lot of major industries thrive on oil for energy and so are other sectors. It is with great concern that people have now started to use electricity and other types of organic energy producers. Many still think that this crisis would not create a deep impact on their daily life, but the whole idea cannot be taken for granted. We live in an era where oil based energy producer's help us to evolve and conduct research in various fields. The need to conserve oil is of a huge concern as it is a now renewable resource.

Some inventions such as running your car on hydrogen is still on the experimental phase and is yet to reach the next level. Hybrid cars that run on electricity are now getting popular among the crowd as it cuts the fuel cost and are fashionable as well. Research has been conducted, so that the use of hydrogen would give a better source of energy and is completely non emissive as well. Water combined with hydrogen, is enough to give the much needed energy that a fuel can emit for moving an automobile.

Peak oil crisis would cause a lot of setbacks globally and financially, there affecting the normal routine of life. It is important to replace the oil reserves with better methods and one that is cost effective as well. Going green, taking walks or cycling to work would be better rather than wasting fuel. Conserving them would extend their life thus helping us to buy time to find better alternatives for fuel.

Lot of people claim that peak oil theory does not exist and should not be an area of concern as oil reserves would not get exhausted that easily. It is difficult to predict the right time for the decline as it would take place very gradually and not at a rapid pace. In the present age, fuel is being used for almost everything that, we might one day run out of oil. The theory can become a reality, if we do not waste or take the necessary action to top the fossil fuels. This debate is very open and would continue till a solution is provided.
